I now can use that Cheesy movie line . . . . as some of you may know, i did meet a boy in Scotland! And yes, it was over new years . . . but no, I wasnt drunk when we first kissed.
So after all that teenaged agnst (which i doubt will ever go away, no matter how old you are), we decided that we might as well spend some time together! My thought when the suggestion to get out of london, was to do something like a day trip and see the stone henge or similar!!! Somehow, we end up with Paris.
So in a thousand years time, i can look back and say that one Friday we booked a train that left that day and headed to paris with someone i barely knew!
Was it romantic??? Most definately. Nothing like being able to wonder around what they call 'the city of love' and be able to hig and kiss the person with you.
Did i see much of Paris this time around???? Well, dont think i am keen to answer that one!!! Lets just say that it was a very relaxed trip and we know that its is so easy to get to...we got in late friday night...on sat went to the 'arc de triumph' walked down the 'champs elysees' and towards the effiel tower.... waited in line for a few hours, and finally got up to the second deck (the summit was closed).
Watched the sun set from the effiel tower (was up there for a while. Saw it sparkle on the hour (absolutely amazing) and then headed down for a walk along the seine (hand in hand) before settling on a resturant at trocederro.
Sunday was definately a day to wake up naturally . . . then head down to the notre dame . .. where incidently there was a church service...
a lazy walk along the seine again and back home!!! A fantastic weekend...
And the boy . . .
Well . . .at the moment, i guess that remains to be scene! At the end of the day i guess 'we will always have paris'.
